Magazines

The page which lists all the magazines I can find with the Straycats or a Straycat on it or in it. When the Stray Cats are or a Stray Cat is on the cover they will certainly be listed here. When the Straycats are not on the cover but only in the magazine, it has to be worthy of mentioning here. Meaning it has to have an interview, unique pictures or otherwise be interesting.
This is basically a mission impossible to be complete, but if you know of anymore please mail the_Anchorman. Let's see how far we can get with this.

Muzie Expres has an interview with the Stray cats. This interview was held on 4 April 1981 at the Merwedehal in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. The article starts with the fact that the Stray cats are late due to the fact that Brian has throat issues and went to the doctor in Amsterdam. Tony Bidgood the manager agrees that Muziek Expres can conduct the interview nonetheless because Brian likes the magazine. Because the Stray Cats are often bored with ansering the same questions over and over again Muziek Expres lets them do their own interview.
They talk about why they produced some songs themselves instead of Dave Edmunds for the first album. Lee answers that Dave ran out of time because he had to go the USA to perform with Rockpile and the Stray Cats weren't pleased with some of the production so they did it themselves.

The article is that their biggest fear is that their succes will go away. It is about how Keith Richards lend them the money to buy plaintickets to England. It is about how Lee Rocker used to earn his money by delivering papers. But with that money he bought a bass and kids from the neighbourhood could play on it for money. It is about how Slim Jim used to work as a bartender. It is about that club managers are now willing to have them unlike the old days. And it is about they will record a new album in the deep south of America.
